@jimmyclear Recantation! Lol, that was a good one. And possibly correct? Maybe he's not reincarnated, they just took his mangled body and put it in a tube (stasis) for release "when magical science has advanced enough to put him together again". Something which happened right before the "end of times crisis", so they had just applied a regeneration matrix on him before magicking themselves back to the equivalent of the bronze age. So his healing program had to work on minimal energy and finally released him right now (in a world that has recovered a bit) and has now started on test tube thirteen (which might go faster?).
