Well, this better not become a situation where they have half a chapter devoted to a conversation, then this entire thing gets wrapped up in the second half where basically everything is just stopped, and life continues on as if the last 6-ish chapters never happened, everyone forgives eachother, because why not, and MC gains a new harem girl in this now destroyed future world.
Though I would not mind a reset, since for one, this entire arc being one of the first arcs makes almost no sense if it ends everything here between the two of them. And secondly, there is no real going back from this without one. MC is 10 years out of sync with the entire world, FMC is considered evil by more or less the rest of the world, Li Weisi is the only dragon allied with humanity, and now cant stop FMC. The world looks almost completely destroyed too. Basically there is no easy way to unfuck everything unless somehow a reset is introduced. Like maybe this is all a dream or something. It is a bit of a cop-out, but at least it would make the story progress easier imo.
I want to like this story, the initial premise isn't one you usually see unless it is some kind of generic harem school manga where MC is either dense or only is half-assing the relationship where literally any and all even slightly romantic actions are avoided and dates are done in groups with at least 3 or more girls. This MC isn't that dense, and actually, while reluctantly, accepts his current romantic situation. I get there is a harem tag, but there is already an established main girl also.
Also, why is the hypocritical "Dragonslayer" seemingly leading the so-called resistance? She is the one responsible for literally everything that has happened. She calls herself a "Dragonslayer", yet she not only didn't slay FMC, but also is now working with Li Weisi, who is a dragon. What happened to your fancy suit from before? Sure MC beat you, but you couldn't fix it? It seemed pretty effective at combating dragons, given how that if MC was not there, you would have easily killed both FMC and Li Weisi. At least now you seem a bit more mentally stable. Remember that her entire reasoning for why she attacked them in the first place was "I do it because I am a Dragonslayer and it is what I like to do. it is not my fault they just happen to be Dragons who have yet to be subjugated. And fuck your logic even if you say something completely reasonable as a counterargument, no matter how correct you are. Do not ridicule the one thing that allows me to flaunt my ego and feed my superiority complex". Maybe now, once everything is settled, she will be a bit more likable.
