Also everyone is reading for the girls anyway, strong or not, the MC just isn't interesting on his own currently.

I like the story, I have no problem with it... The issues I have are with Zhang Nan passing his time to act more mature and Chen Ge lack of development... She supposedly was the Main lead right? 40 chaps and I want more Zhang Nan to be with the 2 girls instead of Chen Ge, they don't have a connection at all!

@BalrogDeMorgoth yeah, the issue with the MC isn't that he is normal or he is not strong, but that he is soooo freaking boring. If not for the girls (like the chapters where he met the mop head) this manhwa would be about nothing. He is not even just a blank slate like a lot of MCs are, he is just a wet noddle, bland and boring.

I'm fine with this story's approach to characters. I have read SO MANY manga and manhwa and manhua with ultra strong protagonists. I rather lilke that this MC is so different.

As far as I understand this is going to be a really long one, so I'm fine with the slow development as well. And it would be completely unrealistic, at this point in the story, to have romance I think. It does not really fit with the MC personality, nor with the girls personalities. They're all very "immature", it's ironic that the blond M guy is the one who is thinking the most about romance.

I assume that all the girls have... issues, different ones for each of them. So I find the idea of a slow burn story enticing.

I think the bighest issue with this is how slow it is going now when it started out fairly quickly. I dont mind "weak" MCs but I feel that because of the title, having 40 chaptrrs with absolutely 0 development with the assumed FMC besides maybe 3 incidences of less than romantic interactions. The biggest plus so far was she gave him his boots back.

For a title with My Girlfriend being included, 40 chapters in with nothing seems a bit too dry. Before, the randomness and the action could keep the interest, but lately it has been just boring. The 2 girl "friends" are so one dimentional. One eats, the other is like a puppy. I assume there will be more to them later, but so far that is literally all they have been for some time now. This new friend at least seems to be somewhat deeper than just "names background character".

I enjoy the pacing and MC. I think he will get stronger - but I'm in no rush. <shrug>
