Even with that my first two questions are valid. I can understand zombie girl is in another room at the moment but these weapons are literally impossible. To cut a knife like that your weapon needs to be much stronger, harder, and sharper than them.

I know why the author did this, they want things to keep escalating so they needed better gear but the only way to make anything better would be to make weapons that are literally impossible.

It is most likely that manga adaptation artist is taking liberties with their drawing. Like actor in Mission Impossible movie acting as if he is getting knocked away by explosion, but flies in the wrong direction.
