my advice dont try to pick up your pet like that unless its naturally docile or very very far removed from their wild ancestors like those new breeds of rat dogs that can fit inside your purse
because if your pet actually has a somewhat independent personality your gonna get bitten and scratched...
friend in school tried it with his pet turtle.... the sucker scratched his nose bloddy and took half his ear (snapper tutle)
