The title is only implies anything unwholesome if you assume there's something ironic about it, or some such. The fact that such titles exist should not detract from others, such as this, saying things sincerely, or so I feel.

...That said: Honestly the title in Japanese doesn't specify a number. Just, "My mommies" would have been more accurate, as a translation, and be more faithfully baby-talk-y and lead less people to think it's a GL title (given the prevailing cultural connotations of "my two moms" or "my two dads" as being a simple explanation of life as a child of gay parents).
