Sooo... what I'm assuming is the mother brought back the kid as a ploy to get back together.
Think about it, he calls him dad in front of people (i.e that woman the kid threw ice cream at)
Not to mention the smug faces, and how he acts when his father is talking to another women.

Just my thoughts, either that or she gave him his kid to fuck with him, lol.

Idk, I have a feeling the kid is doing this on his own, not because his mother told him to.

From the looks of it he's just really smart for his age and wants his dad to be in his life.

The thing about the mother being a scheming bitch is probably a misunderstanding, that's why I don't think she's deliberately trying to screw him over.

There is no way it is plotted, the kid just tries to help in his own way. He ships them, haha.
Btw I am pretty sure that the one who want to get back together first will be the father, and mommy will be stubborn about it, and only change his mind later in the story.

I also think, that the mother has nothing to do with the things that the child is doing, remember, when she met her Ex-husband? she ran away immediately because she didn't want her feelings for him to come back. She probably just sent her child to his father because she didn't had another choice (no family to rely on, no friends). I wonder when she's going to make her appearance though, this seems interesting xD
