Trying to explain the chapter as I understand it: In the past life, the MC was Brahma's (and the other dude's?) master, which is why Brahma hugged him in chapter 9. That jade that MC had belonged to their master, but the MC is their master, so technically the jade belongs to MC.

I think???

That's how it goes for now yes. But the characters there don't know about the details between the MC and the master. I guess that's why it's kinda confusing.
