I've seen a few similar threads with moderate success so I figured I would have a go with something thats been bothering me for a couple of months now.
I read it a while back on old batoto so the details are a little hazy but i think it was something like this.
its about an orphan high school student who applied for a job to support his little brothers and sisters but the job turns out to be for an "enemy combatant" (ie minion) position for an "evil" organization. he need the money so he takes it anyway. he has to fight some heros or something and he ends up being pretty good at it so they start using him to test out all these weird gadgets and combat suits and shit. also he had a love interest who was high ranking in the organization and went to the same school. i wanna say her villan name was ladywolf or something like that? and I think there was some kind of subplot with his little sister being a hero?
I remember it being a surprisingly good read but it was cut short because it was some kind of light novel adaptation.
