Mario kinda was an ass speaking of her like that, yeah she went yandere mode but Mario actions didnt help at all, at best they accelerated her actions by using the other gal's body for having sex with Mario and gettting rid of her shortly after on a thraumatic manner so Mario would come back to her.

Kinda sad that on a sense, both are using each other without caring too much of the other's feelings. Mario went back to her because she was an useful tool having the stickers, and she wanted Mario back no matter the cost

Maybe it's me but did he really say "she's nothing"? Because in japanese they often say "it's nothing" as in there's nothing between us (nandemonai). I feel like the translation makes it look way worse than it would sound in japanese, but that's just me guessing as I said.

I try not to complain about an authors writing decisions. But the direction he is taking the main character in these last couple of chapters makes no damn sense. The mc just does a complete 180 personality flip out of nowhere. How do we go from him seeing the female lead as a partner with a little bit of romantic feelings to seeing her as pawn and a means to an end. Theres no set up for this, he barely knows the other girl and says fuck it my partner means nothing to me now. Bullshit. The mc comes off like a huge dick now.

IMO also is more accurately translated, “ tha-that person?... it’s nothing” (ie - harsher than “don’t worry about it”, less harsh than “she’s nothing”)
