Wait a second.. Natori is pretty strong on his own. He can see a red kimono, meaning he’s strong(tho not as strong as Matoba). That means he doesn’t need glasses to see youkai better. Wearing the glasses is a homage to the type of person he wants to be- a kind exorcist like Takuma. But to Matoba, that kindness is like wearing rose tinted lenses- it distorts reality. That’s why Natori doesn’t feel he can ever relate to Matoba- they see and treat the world differently.
