Naughty Succubus "Saki-chan" - Vol. 1 Ch. 48.5 - A kid who can eat anything is a healthy kid

i was always curious about the egg on rice thing, my biggest concern was if its one of those meals that only a certain demographic can eat safely or can anyone eat it without risk? coz over here we have a couple of foods that apparently only work coz our genes have adapted to it, so when other ppl eat it they get a stomach ache

I'm not allowed to eat raw foods anymore, but I'd totally try raw egg on rice. Considering I can enjoy scrambled eggs on rice, this doesn't seem like much of a jump.

So, Sushi with Uncooked fish and no one batch an eye. But eat raw egg with rice and every one lose their mind ?
Well, over here we have uncooked fresh blood soup. Wonder how Japanese will react to that

I prefer to either pasteurize the egg by heating it to 135 Fahrenheit for an hour or making onsentamago, but the yolk mixing into the rice with furikake and some shoyu is awesome.

Classic south-east asian food - take whatever raw shit you have and eat it with rice.

Savages.

Yeah because eating raw yolk with sugar or honey is not practiced in the West. Or eating steak tartare.

I'll have the virgin blood please

@Hollow7F if you sometimes watch cooking channel about japanese food, their egg yolks color different from other countries, and i hear their hen farm have different kind of treatment, so they the egg really safe from "some" bacteria. and that's why they really like to eat it uncooked or undercooked. I'm not really knew too deep about it so maybe that's just my knowledge when hearing it on some vids

I've eaten rice with Spanish-fried eggs often but I'm definitely unfamiliar with raw eggs.

Weather or not you can eat them raw depends on what kind of egg and how it is treated, similar to how milk is pasteurizing milk, it is common is some countries to treat the eggs with radiation or make use of another solution to remove bacteria and make them safe for raw consumption.

i mean bodybuilders here will straight up drink raw egg for protein, and amber moons (raw egg and worchestershire sauce) make great hangover cures

I wouldn't eat it, but I'm also highly susceptible to food poisoning. (I seriously got food poisoning once from some deep-fried sushi.) If I wasn't, I'd be game to try it.
