So nobunaga is stupid? Threatening your subjects, blackmailing them and hoping that they will be loyal? History has shown that with fear you can only rule by constantly being on guard. Nobunaga isn't on guard. Weird how he wasn't poisoned or killed in his sleep.
In history he was supposed to be some great strategist. Here he seems like angry child with a gun.

@KamiKira00 well actually he's betrayed and cornered by one of his most loyal retainer and then he (Nobunaga) commit seppuku (to keep his honor from being ambushed and betrayed? probably?)
And actually there's been some assassination attempt aimed at him in the early days when he just became the family head after his father died and unordinarily appoint Nobunaga as the next head, one of it is from his own brother, but Nobunaga already aware of his brother plan and then he summoned his brother and chopped his neck..
Well from this we can learn that he is charismatic, but his cruel act overwhelmed his charisma.. oh and there's some debate actually about Nobunaga "real personality", it's said that his current history potrayed personality is just story that's been over exaggerated by his retainer and the one that successes after him (the reason probably for the peasants to see that the next successor is more "kind" than Nobunaga.. I think?)
