Non main stream Anime recommendations?

Looking for recommendations, I don't have preferences for genre. I'm tired of the heavy amount of main stream recommendations I get. Please actually recommend me something that's good, not just because it is popular.

Not sure if it's considered mainstream or not but I found not many of my friends know this Anime so Yami Shibai season 1+2. I quite like the creepy pasta atmospheric horror of seasons1+2, the others not so much.

hmm maybe try the movie type of anime instead of series of episode?

I remember watching some of the movies in the past and its really good. Though I dont remember the title cause I'm not really into an anime
