Are raspberries in Japan sour? In my country, they're sweet.
Or were they just picked out of season?

@flannan raspaberries are unripe black berries and thus are sour. You sure your not just mistaking them for salmon berries?

@immortalartisan - I always thought "raspberry" to be a translation for "berries" you can find on this plant: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rubus_idaeus
They are commonly eaten in my country, and popular for their sweetness.
