I think a good twist would be that she actually is a girl.

Like, when she was young enough where she wasn't aware about the differences between boys and girls, she drank the man potion and turned into a guy.

So growing up she thought she was a guy when she was originally a girl, and drinking that woman potion just made her revert to her original gender
