Just wondering, why do certain groups not want their works to be retranslated into other languages? Wouldn't that be good for letting the series reach more people? (Especially if the original group was credited with the original translation.)
@Varler
Well, in JPN -> ENG translations, you've already removed some hidden meaning due to lost in translation and if you use that ENG translation to translate even more, then the meaning of a sentence might even deviate so much that it's out of character or the whole thing is just wrong.
There are also cases that an ENG translation uses some kind of phrase that's similar to what the JPN said, but the re-translator didn't catch, so the re-translator just translate it literally and it'll just become poop.
It's like having an image that's in png and then you jpeg it, and then someone jpegs it again. The quality would suck.
must not run , can't hide , can't escape , death won't help , only miracle does ...
please buy the original manga if it's available and or support the translator , for each dime you spent ninja will have 0.1% more chance to roll a miracle to be saved from such predicament ...
