Maybe we could get back to the first pair who was introduced, Hirotaka and Narumi ... ? When I discovered this as an anime, in which I thought they are the only main characters, it was way better that way. SMH. Since that company trip (Which was ages ago !), there has been 0 progress. It's always hard to tell if it's a TL snafu, or it's in the original Japanese and is just a quirk. It's happened almost every time now since the reveal it feels (not that I checked, but the last few with Kou have had the same issue of inconsistent pronouns despite the characters knowing full well)
