Otome Danshi ni Koisuru Otome - Vol. 2 Ch. 240.1 - Volume 2: Extras

Oooooo....
This is a Reason why yuki drop out from school and crossdressing himself
A bit sad .....

Wow. I wonder if Yuki's grandmother kept making them introduce themselves because she wanted them to be who they really are. Thats deep. That principle is a dick, but the dying hair thing does happen irl which makes it even sadder.

The backstory of Yuki was pretty interesting (and a bit melancholic), I was wondering how his love for crossdressing affected his life in the past. I really like the global message: if it doesn't hurt others, you should just be yourself. I also appreciate the precision about the manga being about gender stereotypes and not gender identity (I mean, it was pretty clear for me that Yuki just like women's clothing and doesn't see himself as a woman, but the little clarification is always good).

Also, god, Yuki and Mayu are way too fucking cute. Help. I will die of sugar overdose before the end of this manga. (The "after hug reaction" just killed me. >w<)

It's sad because schools in Japan really forces those who have natural color to die their hair to black.

Good thing I didnt skip this chapter like I usually do with "extras" because the grandma story was really good and a little sad

The part where Kei is about to comment on Rin's clothes, but stops in order to not be a hypocrite is my favourite.

Oh fuck me that grandma story

She didn't recognize him until he finally arrived as who he was

I wasn't ready for that

Hhhhhhhhhh

"If we force you it'll be a bit of a bother, it's not that we're forcing you but..."

but yeah we're forcing you

Chapter hit a bit too close to home with the dementia...

The part where she recognized him...I pretty much had to stop reading for a moment to take it in. Yes, just so yes.

Also the kabedon was nice.

I'd totally get fired if I was a teacher in Japan. "You simply must do something, there's a boy in my child's class who looks like a delinquent because of his hair!" "Ma'am, that kid doesn't dye his hair." "I don't care, it looks vulgar!" "Not as vulgar as you, ma'am."

FIRED

Dementia is some fucked-up nightmare-ish crap that really should only exist in fiction ... but alas ... :/

Go Jackie Stewart ^^
