@KakumeiNoHi on mangaupdates it says there are 10 chapters in what is labeled as an ongoing season 2. But according to Squiggles it is just an epilogue of some kind. So your hopes are fulfilled.

@themichael WAY TOO SOON this needed like 500 more chapters or so to start.
It was a great run though and there was a really nice conclusion here so at least we aren't crying tears of pain. A satisfying ending like this is leagues better than some other manga get so.
