This is worse than the first OG manga, the first one was more similar to the LN, Overgeards LN makes the series good, compared to this, this manga is dogshit. And it's the solo leveling artists doing this, and Grid looks like this? LN literally shows you how he looks, and we get this. This is why we don't talk about the manga.
A lot of stuff has been skipped too, plus the fact they fucked up the prologue(Hell Gao raid) and made this dumbass scene with

The Earl's actions don't make any sense beyond entitled asshole. "Go find me this thing" and he apparently screwed with Grid as he was doing it? Then when Grid finds the thing and he realises it's worth more than he's being offered, he makes the obvious choice to do something else with it. Then the Earl just shows up (he wasn't able to find it himself before then, though?...) and starts calling him a traitor?

@Swift Well it's more that he's a noble who tasked Grid to retrieve an item for him. Grid decided to welch on his end of the deal, so he shows up to retrieve the item Grid agreed to bring him.
How the game "knew" that and failed him on his quest though is a bit hackneyed, but it moves the story along.

@DonGiovanni I think this guy is an NPC. His quest is to retrieve the book, but because he was going to sell it (seems like you need to logout to do it?) The quest triggered and teleport the Ashur guy into the dungeon. And our MC said it himself, it took him how many potion, level down, and hours just to reach that place. I think the "plot" will say that the Ashur guy follow him or something. Our MC is like a pathfinder.
