Not all of them are world ending and over the top tho...
One of the suggested 001 SCP´s is, for example, one of the 05 members true identities.

Sure he supposedly nuked a building and wiped the memories of everyone else.
But that isn't really a world-ending event.

Don't get your hopes up, though.
We'll never know what's SCP-001 truely is. Even SCP-035 haven't figured it out.


Also, this one is obviously a fake, there's been too many occurences of SCPs whose origin is too determined to ever be considered spawing out of thin air, just take SCP-427.

@Goldenzeal I think a better example to use would be the other SCP-001 submittion . Where it is literally just a simple pathway in a park, that if you walked backward in would just endlessly loop, but only if you walked backward. Otherwise its just a safe and normal pathway.
