An 8th rank spell isn't as impressive as I thought it would be.

@gaigous yes but realize this: the magic cannons Yale brought in spits out 8th rank magic without needing an 8th rank mage. that's still some serious firepower for handling siege machines and low-level peons so to us it's eh because we're used to seeing Linley pull off bigger stuff, but for one of those infantry soldiers? "shellshock" comes to mind

@Wolvenworks I was expecting something on the level of a nuclear warhead, but I forgot that they're not just vanilla human soldiers, it changes the dynamic completely.
