Imperial Oni is defo still a shady MF but at the same time I wouldn't exactly be willing to lend a hand to the person who decided to ally with someone who is determined to wipe out my species to the very last person either then just casually waltzes up to me for a favor if I was in his situation as well so yeah.
He's a douche but well I don't really begrudge his actions or rather his inaction this chapter either.
Granted his inaction is probably hurting the goal of "cooperation" (though it may actually be aiding it depending on how exactly he defines it).
Regardless I'm expecting the Imperial Mask Oni God to bail out Hawson since she seemed to take an interest in him.

@LordTrollbias I bet Sari got it right on point, it's a test. Any Oni seeing Sari with Peach Boy will assume she's working with him to murder all Oni, because he's an Oni murderer. If she doesn't have a method to deny those claims and calm them down there would be an immediate battle with casualties.

When two strong sides have a grudge against the other, simply destroying their strength is not going to be enough to stop bloodshed.

Though I must admit it was cute how Sari still wants to travel with him, and even say that choosing him is something she’d like.
Mikoto is conflicted with himself and knows that what he’s doing isn’t any good for himself either, so I hope Sari gets to convince him of her ideals.
