Went and speedran the whole manga... Yep, turns out the friend isn't as bad as I remembered (If anything, she's nice and just looking out for the girl she likes in a way that it's believable from a high schooler) so I'm happy with this resolution.


Overall, a really really good ending. The cliffhanger last chapter was too baity so I knew nothing harsh would really happen, but I'm still so glad, because FUCK DRAMA INDUCING DEUS EX MACHINAS RIGHT AT THE ENDING.

Anyway I hate how yuri series almost always end under 20 chapters so frustrating, though I guess a bit better than pointless padding.
On another note, will someone translate Official Hibike Euphonium manga? How come such a series hasn't been picked up by anyone yet?

Considering how back and forth this manga had been up to this point, I would not have been surprised in the least if there had been a bittersweet tragedy. Though for the childhood friend, I guess it is, because it doesn't look like she ever let on what she truly felt.
