Q.E.D. iff - Vol. 11 Ch. 21 - The Unreliable Witness

Is the name using katakana in the japan version?

If Radish did not join the gang everyone will live happily, well beside his kleptomaniac tendency

Author really grasping to come up with names, huh.

Gotta love the indreasing ridiculousness of Mizuhara being great in fights, though.

These two really were just out on a date to get mango shaved ice and didnt even acknowledge it huh
Also you can get 10+ years for perjury and falsifying evidence but Brock Turner got three months for rape?!?!?!?

@pokefairy being a repeat offender is bad and can mandate a long sentence and Brock Turner was not convicted of rape, only sexual assault. The sentence was lenient and everybody but the judge hated it. He was also sentenced to six months, serving three, but he was also much younger and not a repeat offender. Prosecution recommended six years.

@gormadoc sure, I'm comparing the crimes as well though, assault is way worse than perjury but the punishments are almost the same.

Its pretty much like the author stopped caring about accurate foreign names. A couple of chapters are just filled with oddballs.

@KLGChaos I actually work with a guy who has the nickname "Onion", so it is possible they were using nicknames instead. At the same token, I say that this is one time it might have been better to leave the names in Japanese than translating them as well, unless that is -quite literally- how they were in the manga.

@Hounder The names are in katakana in the manga, it's not a direct translation. They were literally Onion Ring, Carrot Stick, etc.

Thanks for the chapter. I've never heared of kleptomania actually. Interesting to know

i never been out travelling between countries, is it normal for custom to check personal phone gallery?
that is very "dangerous" isnt it

What's wrong with the author? The English names are super weird. Is he too lazy to make up names or what?

Like back in the day the names may be cheesy, like John Smith or whatever, but at least it's still sensible.
