I have to wonder if the kids get all of it from Shizuka, or if the dad was also smexy when he was younger.

I'd say he probably looked somewhat like Jin does when he was that age, from looking at him now. Add some decades to Jin and he'll probably resemble the dad. Ran on the other hand might be more of a mix of the two, since she doesn't look too much like the mom in her bigger form. But then again, depending on the age that form is supposed to be, she might have more growing to do even beyond that once she actually gets there.
