Something confuses me. How come he didn't see any of this coming? He should have lived through all this already. Author's fault? Or did MC merely forget...?

@Izaya_Onisai She should have seen already that he had changed. Saying something wouldn't change a thing. Also, would you believe someone changed merely because they said they did? Logically and realistically, no. If you did, you're naive and gullible.
