Recommendations for series based on similarity :planned:

Hi what I'm suggesting is that for any individual series there can be an extra tab(next to the chapters, comments, covers) called recommendations where users can submit reccs of other series that are simliar and explain their reasoning. 'Similarity' consisting of components like premise, art, characterization, development, whether it's actually good, whether it falls off etc. Something like what MAL already has basically.

So for example, the manga Out could have the series Worst, Angel Densetsu, Clover etc in that tab. It's true for a popular series like Out someone can just go on MAL to see that. But since MD accepts a much wider range of series that MAL does not I think it might be worth considering. It's worth mentioning that searching by genre/theme tags makes that feature non-essential but I've found that method to not be very convenient considering the volume of series that can carry the same tags but not be simliar.

The biggest issue with this would potentially be having people actually submit reccs but I do see people tend to mention simliar series in comment sections so just some food for thought.

@Hamin Recommendations are definitely planned, but to what extent it actually bases its recommendations on, is up in the air. Would likely be some combination of tags and follows.
