while she's generally pretty faithful and serious about mc and hasn't really even laid her hands on him putting aside just caring about him immensely
and she does seriously think she loves him and that this is acceptable with love but even with all that, yeah,

i think the author definitely will punish her for the charm and will absolutely put him off it, he's made pretty clear that this charm stuff is the most f**ked up part of her otherwise decent, if self-inflated personality

I wonder what ability the author would give to the MC to combat this. Because, at this rate, he's really going to be left in the dust, along with everyone else. @Intruvious the MC has already caught up to/surpassed her in the raws, but I don't think you can really label her as an "antagonist" of the series, in all honesty, she pretty much helps the MC to grow stronger and achieve his main goals (sending him to new mystic gardens, eliminating people who seek to kill him like in this chapter). If anything, with the amount of screentime she gets, she's more of a deutoragonist, she fears him growing stronger not because she hates him, but because the only thing she thinks is keeping him reciprocating her feelings is the charm that loses effect if he grows too strong. With setups like this, it's almost always a given that the MC and FMC are entangled by fate or simply by their own actions and are pretty much destined to get together at some point.

@Intruvious I'm pretty sure that part was a dream sequence where he removed the manifestation of the charm from his soul, it should be obvious from how there were so many of her and she was literally pink.
