Regarding translations based on official releases

The rules clearly state that raws and official releases are prohibited, but I was wondering about translations in one language based on official translations in another language? Like, you got a manga, then an English publisher licenses it and releases official translations, then a Spanish fan translator takes those and edits them into Spanish. I got curious about this because this is exactly the case with the Spanish chapters 27 and beyond of Demi-chan wa Kataritai. I can see arguments either way, I'm not sure what to think of it myself.

I only read manga either raw or in english since my native language sounds like shit so I'm not really sure about it but, I don't think there's any problem with doing so.
Well, if ask me why some people opposed it, maybe it's because english release supposedly mean to be international release since most people understand english nowadays and by scanlate it into another language would removes the purpose of official release to be there for that language's country.

@Homogenized Scanlation at its core is taking the official language and translating it into another language. Japanese to English, Japanese to Spanish, English to Spanish. It's no different whether or not your raws come from the official Japanese raws or the official English raws.

If not, then you can.

Translating from an official English release into a different language is still derivative work, therefore you can upload it.
