Remake Touko - Vol. 1 Ch. 4 - Love and Pain (End)

Oh my. This really didn't go the way I hoped. How can you be pretty with dozens of sharp objects stuck in your body?

I guess let's hope the author finds success with this series.

I love these "merry bad end" stories. I nearly died when I saw end written next to the chapter title... Because it was the second half of the story but I forgot that so I was worried the series was axed or something.

I pity bought the manga. I'm actually surprised that my English Bookwalker account worked for the Japanese website, but makes things easier for me, I suppose.

@urtoast I agree. The fact that the endings so far have been bad but generally end with the protagonist being happy gives the manga a unique feel.

I'm not going to lie there's something about the abuse angle to this that I can't jive with like the other chapters. This just strikes too close to home to be enjoyable.

uhhhhh... why am I still reading this, I can't decide if this is horrible, or horrible

The author is clearly in a very dark place, but I do kinda appreciate this series. Sort of like Warui Salesman by way of Junji Ito. The only part I didn't like in this whole thing is the first part with the chunky girl getting herself killed with her wish. That didn't come off as poetic or wry to me like the other stories. Some of the others feel a bit off-kilter to me too in a way Warui Salesman doesn't.

But man, I seriously do want the mangaka to feel better and not lose hope.

for me, the one that most standout here is author's resolve. in one way i kind of admire him about how he wrote those
words in his own book
