I don't think she faked it. She is incredibly naive though. As if having him there would ward off her stalker. Last thing I would do in the situation is feel sleepy or even think of messing around. I'd be on high alert for the guy to show up again and ready to deal with an angry lunatic. Once again, he's going to be interrupted before he can do the deed.
