@Adhayra im gonna start from a few eps back. basically they went to meet with the parents. and the reason for their forced marriage was that there was some threat to Meridian. and their parents talked a lot of bullcrap about how it was to protect her, tho i dont get how thats related... and shocker the mom was actual harmed by someone which made her weak and unable to have another kid cuz oh no what if she had a boy. they would be too powerful or something. anyways summary: meridian is in danger so she had to marry. her parents explained why. she gets pissed.(i mean who wouldnt) and now meridian's mom has something to ask of red head whos name i cant seem to remember.
so basically it was a bunch on nonsense
sry if that was a bit confusing.

this isnt a bad story the parents are just annoyingly stupid
