Thank you for the update!! Oh man 'Randall' makes so much more sense than 'Lan Di' (I think it was), given that he's a member of the ruling ethnic group, and they all have European names. 'Lan Di' really threw me off last time around, I thought his family were collaborators with the racist state or something, instead of assuming the more obvious, that the name had received an incorrect romanisation.
