Fun fact: The Chinese live action film adaptation of this series (Story of Ricky) is a nearly perfect recreation of this manga up to chapter 13 (the only differences being made to make the last few chapters feel more like an ending than a "to be continued"). The Ova, by comparison, heavily censors or abbreviates events, making Story of Ricky one of the most faithful live action manga adaptations ever made.
