Roxana - Vol. 1 Ch. 19

You can tell she's drained. Even though she knows the future from the book, with everything she experienced, she would be really drain of affection and other emotions.

@AlessaO Same. I'm really starting to wonder whether things are actually going the same way as in the world of the book. I mean, the book wans from the perspective of the female protagonist, and Roxanne was only a side-character in that book at best.
As for Jeremy, it seems as though his own mother is also one who isn't a psycho (like Rozanne's mother), and that he probably became the way he is due to a few things: 1- In order to survive in that family (following the example of his siblings as a model); 2- because of how distant he is to everyone else in the family, with even his own mother disliking him; 3- Because of Roxanne (of him growing to depend on her, loving her, with her being the sole person he receives familial love from).
So, him going after the female protagonist of the book might have been an incident that happened as he was getting frustrated even more following Roxanne possibly leaving him behind. Might even be linked to the thing going on between Kassius and Roxanne since Kassius is the brother of the female protagonist.

I'm not sure what's going to happen next, but no matter how it goes, Jeremy is going to have it very hard mentally, and that will only make him more erratic and unstable.
