I want to see where this story is going, even though I don't really like the personality of the black-haired girl.
Ps .: Is there a yuri that is more or less like this, but the girl who was left behind does not dwell on the old romance and gets involved with other people until she finds the old love again ??
I am tired of those yuri romances where the one left is always in that pit and when her meets the old love her is quickly dragged as if nothing had happened.

but this is not the ancient times anymore, if the guy's a total assdouche about using protection (which is like, a hugeeee red flag) either leave (best option) or take a morning pill, but even that's not always effective, and taking pills can suck

some people aren't made to handle loneliness well (usually people who have a limited internal world and have to seek external stimulants constantly)

She is the type of character with personal weakness that leads her to makes mistakes that hurt herself.
Herself, not others.
She is just doing harm to her, not others, because of her personal weakness she puts herself in negative situations an at the mercy of others. This isn't a case for redemption, is a case for sympaty.
It's the same with Maki.
She already realized that Midori is "weak", but still didn't overcame her own weakness to at least try to help her friend. In the past chapters she had the courage to talk and "ask", but ask is not what Midori needs, she needs someone to push harder to convince her, force her a bit if necessary.
Midori "clearly" (for me) have some sort of depression also. People see others smiling and laughing and don't believe, but depressive people can laugh normally. And depression is a harder obstacle to overcome in order to act than non-depressive people realize.

People don't need to be "redeemed" when they fail to stop themselves from being victimized. They need to change, but redemption is for when you sin against others, not when you are sinned against.
And when you're close to a weak person, you don't take advantage to push them around, you help them get stronger.
