@Syavoir She's the typical ordinary character. Without her, the others would feel less strange or extraordinary. I suppose she's that way also because she's Kenshin's fantasy ideal with her whole "the sword that protects" slogan. She represents the normal life that Kenshin never had and doesn't really feel entitled to after his life of a killer. But yeah, when you look at her on her own, she's a pretty annoying character.

Idk why the main character's girl had to be such trash in 90's shounens lol, Keiko from Yu Yu Hakusho was also very annoying xD
