The protagonist in this is just a little too selfish and pushy. That's his personality all-around, and it's sort of semi-necessary for the story the author is telling (inasmuch as there is a story here), but it also makes him out as a little bit of a creep (who needs to learn to keep his hands to himself sometimes).

It mellows out in the last chapter, though, so I had to remind myself how bad he'd been in the beginning.

felt like it needed to be fleshed out () a bit more but overall it was nice
