someone remind me pls, whats the other manga with this exact premise? i mean the guy that is rank 1, and has to attend an academy and pretend hes a lower rank, and has 2 main girls that are in the triple digits, i only remembered that he went with his class to a forest for a test and everyone was getting clapped by monster bears so he had to intervine.... havent seen that in a long while and im like 90% sure either mangasushi or LHTranslations was doing it

@DaJa-rahrah pff no wonder it was the same, but i gotta say now im comparing both 1st chapters and in this one he looks 12 and they dont tell us his age but he goes to school with that look, in the older one he was 12 during the introduction but hes 16 when he goes to the school, about the art, umh i like the older one better, but in here they are most expressive, but it looks like tbhis version is gonna be hella less gory

Art is jankier but I think it has more dynamic angles and poses compared to the stiff gestures of the last one. It's just anatomy isn't consistent and you can tell there's a lot of slack work here and there.

But the tsundere lead girl is a lot less annoying in this one - in the other one because of the stiff expressions and the way she's portrayed she genuinely comes across like an asshole sometimes.

I dunno, in a way I prefer this art even though it's jankier. Has a bit more personality. But yeah I don't like the cut details either - though some of them I'm okay with
