Chieftains?! ahahaha the poor bastards XD.
so first off, a chieftain's hull's not gonna stop 105mm sabot from the Centauros. the turret might, but not the hull.
and ERA is more effective against chemical warheads such as HEAT, HESH/HEP, HE, etc. It's not NEARLY as effective against sabot, nor is the armor on the Centauro sufficient enough to stop 120mm sabot. I suppose at a sharp enough angle, maybe...
all this until I look closer and realize they're most likely firing something like APBC, cause that sure as hell isn't sabot.
