A couple of thoughts;
1. I'd prefer Kuro to Blackie. I mean, it's a characters name, not a product or establishment. You wouldn't translate Mariko's name (Truth Child or something like that, I'm guessing), would you?
2. Totally understand you not wanting to do the SFX, but if it's ever an important sound, maybe just add a small footnote.

Aside from that, it's a good translation.
