Seriously, axed, rushed, or be it through deliberate choice I just can't get behind an ending this unsatisfying. Honestly disappointed with this series. I don't know maybe I just saw more potential in this longer than there actually was

i wonder why it's getting axed, they definitely weren't planning on it after introducing a love rival so recently.

It seems like a decent enough ending. The main love couple agree to marriage, they've exhausted the bonding they can do as it's clear how much trust and love exist between the two, and they've had Satoru finally win a match. Any further milestones would just be filler or unnecessary to be honest.

this part was really anti-climatic... not only they randomly finding them out of nowhere but right after a marriage proposal and really stressful few weeks apart and now Saotome has to fight? I mean... couldnt that been in the next day at least? like, wtf
