@AgentKuga The legend uses the last name, not first name so it is useless trying naming your child like that. Q and X don't exist in Japanese thus there is no one with name started with those letters unless the girl is a half-Japanese or foreigner.

Just noticed a curious thing.

Shouko should have been "K" mermaid. If so, she should have needed an "L" mermaid to turn back.

We know that there's no "L" in Japanese, and they pronounce it as "R".
