@macroblitz Exactly, I think the author doesn't know how to write a mature character. No matter how big of a gangster he was, it doesn't mean he is now such a fool.
He hasn't changed a bit. His changes and justifications are totally superficial, like changing one's color. He does things exactly like a gangster but denies being a gangster... I thought perhaps the girls would make him aware but that too turned out to be a limited stint...
@skizlock I even tried to justify his behavior by re-reading the series again. He was even described as "The best of all men". He even escaped dozens of men even when he was already stabbed in the back. He survived all dirty and evil things (Which means he should be already wise or knowledgeable) that dominated everyone.
But, his character had a sudden 180-degree change. He became a fool who only know to trash talk and doesn't even use his head.
