Jumped the shark there at the end in my opinion...Like they should have called the police, or brought a gun to this person's home, shot her. I find it ironic that they have to stand in a specific spot or they won't make it. Also the Death thing being a red herring I don't like, and the ending where they all cut off part of him.


Overall it's a good book and I like MC sacrificing himself, but I don't like most of the rest of it.

Other than the hilarious part where they kept a part of him in a jar, no maybe it's exactly that part, the author must have wanted to draw that ending so badly he made it so mc couldn't survive.

Mc could drag his body on the walls and sacrifice his legs. Considering they had enough rope to go down.
