Seikai Suru Kado - Vol. 1 Ch. 4 - Chapter 4

Damn that girl just made WAM like it was nothing

Btw Thanks for the Chapter, i was surprised there was a new one hehehehe

The story itself is interesting. The whole idea behind the premise, that "Japan is the heart of the world, the place most keen on splitting the bread" is probably the most blatant form of Japanese nationalism I've seen in manga, beating all of the "Japan nanba wan" military manga, or AoT's low-key hat tips to WW2 Japan, combined. For the first time in reading manga, I was truly weirded out.

@Kendama the weird nationalistic stuff feels a lot more played up in the manga than it did in the anime. And it's not even important to the plot.

@remote_red Yeah, I noticed it was tangential at most. That's why I think I'll be able to keep reading this. Still, it was delivered so matter-of-factly, like a self-evident truth, it gave me goose pimples.

Funny how wam is actually just oragami. I'm constantly amazed at the scientific applications oragami has.

Please, for the love of God, may this have a different ending. The anime's ending was disastrous and ruined the whole thing.

@ZenMasters idk about the anime ending since i didnt watch it but i heard this is is changed in a few ways from the anime so possible that its a different ending from what you know
