Seishun Re:Try - Vol. 1 Ch. 1 - Itsuki

Man, that’s honestly a dick move.
It could’ve been any other girl but he just had to go for his brother gf.

That just what I was thinking he doing it on purpose he doesn't even love this girl he just want to mess with his brother that what I think.

not cool buddy boy, not cool

I'm not even read it yet, but reading the comment I already guess the plot right, lol.

@Keimichi @Blackbird It probably has to do with what he said about "wishing he was born in his brother's place." I expect Haruka is planning on copying a lot of the stuff his brother did basically beat-for-beat, partially to fuck with him but also partially because his brother's behavior is an easy reference for "successful" actions. If he was capable of improvising in unfamiliar situations, I doubt he would be dwelling on his past failures to such a degree that he has the speech he was supposed to give for school perfectly memorized three years later (or praying for a do-over to solve all the problems in his life).

Copying his brother will undoubtedly blow up in his face eventually; I doubt he'll be able to handle it when copying Itsuki fails to achieve a desired result. (There's no way to perfectly copy every single detail of his behavior, after all.) No, I'm more concerned that Itsuki is going to irreparably fuck up everyone else's impression of him because he's busy freaking out about his life getting "stolen" and not paying attention to how crazy and jealous that makes him sound.

This seems extremely interesting, seems fun to theorize over everything that's gonna happen. I hope this will have a healthy release rate!

Son of a bitch. I was already suspecting something like this happening the moment he specifically said that he wanted to take his brothers place, but my sympathies for him completely disappeared with this stunt. Jealousy is one ugly ass thing. It isn't enough that he gets a do-over with a lot of advantages, he has to steal all the opportunities from someone else. Now, he deserves whatever bad consequence stems from his actions.

@WhoCares Hopefully, it does indeed blow up in his face. Knowledge of the future isn't all that good when you can't leverage it properly. Not to mention that it isn't precognition. Their future knowledge can be made useless far too easily.

@WhoCares hope it does play out like that - both of them screwing things up differently and having to actually grow the hell up would make a much better story than just little bro pulling off his stunt and big bro freaking out

Oh, it's THIS author

I don't buy the premise though, if the younger twin "always had in him" why did he have to wait for the supernatural event to become popular? And why didn't the older brother punch him in the face when he heard he's a complete asshole that is going to steal his girlfriend out of spite?

Definitely not reading this garbage. You don't need to be such a piece of shit just because you're not sociable.

I thought it’d be a story of a guy changing his life for the better but I’m only midway the first chapter and I couldn’t even believe the douchebaggery this story has. If the younger brother doesn’t get screwed up big time in the end and having to need his older brother some time soon then I don’t really think I can even stomach this story.
