I'm confused. Isn't sensei talking about giving up being a teacher when Samarun graduates? Why all the talk about her needing him there?
I wish there was actually some bonding episode that explained why Samarun feels so comfortable going to mother(-in-law)'s house. Also, yes, it's vaguely cute that she values sensei so much, but it's kind of depressing that that's the totality of her expectations for the future. Hopefully mother's guidance pushes her to 'grow'.
